Fox kanalının yeni dizilerinden olan ve Mel Gibson ve Danny Glover’in başrolünü paylaştığı popüler film “Cehennem Silahı” isimli filmden uyarlanacak olan dizi uyarlaması ve geliştirmesi Matt Miller tarafından yapılacak. Lethal Weapon dizisinin oyuncuları ise; Clayne Crawford (Rectify, Rogue, 24), Damon Wayans (The Underground, My Wife and Kids), Keesha Sharp (American Crime Story), Jordana Brewster (American Crime Story, Dallas), Kevin Rahm (Bates Motel, Mad Men, Desperate Housewives), Chandler Kinney ve Johnathan Fernandez. Lethal Weapon dizisinin konusu ise; küçük bir kalp krizi geçiren Detektif Murtaugh’un hayatındaki tüm stresi kaldırmaya çalışmasını anlatacak. Ama bu yolda suçlular kadar ortağı Riggs de ona yardımcı olmayacaktır.
