A Certain Magical Index
Hikâye doğaüstü güçlerin bilim sayesinde, büyünün ise din sayesinde var olabildiği bir dünyada geçer. Notları tehlikeli derecede düşük olan lise öğrencisi Touma Kamijou, Imagine Breaker denen bir güce sahiptir. Imagine Breaker, diğer bütün güçleri yenebilen ama karşılığında kullanıcının iyi şansını gittikçe zayıflatan bir güçtür. Touma’nın Imagine Breaker’ının gücü gerçekten de ölçülemez derecede kuvvetlidir ve bu yüzden de talihsiz Touma’nın doğaüstü güç seviyesi sıfırdır… Touma bir gün balkonunda beyazlar içinde bir kızla karşılaşır. Kız ise büyücüler tarafından kovalandığını söyler. Aslında bu kız bir rahibedir ve anıları zorla Index-Librorum-Prohibitorum, yani kilisenin 103,000 yasak metini ile değiştirilmiştir.
